Hi, this is the page where I should present myself.

I'm Frodlekis, formerly editing under the name Svenji, a Swedish thirty-something Wiktionarian now based in Spain. After contributing extensively to the Swedish Wiktionary, they handed me the admin keys—possibly so I could fix my own typos. Still, it’s a privilege, and I take genuine pride in shaping the Wikiworld, hopefully making it more inclusive along the way. Mistakes are inevitable (pobody's nerfect), but I believe in learning by doing. My hope is that someone, somewhere, walks away from my work feeling more informed, a little more confident with their words.
My interests are pretty eclectic, so you’ll find me wandering through various fields: onomastics, dance, folklore, mythology, modern tech, geography, human rights, and even prehistory. But language history? That’s where I always seem to return. I’ve also got a deep-rooted interest in Norse paganism—not just as a spiritual practice but as a way to explore ancient traditions that speak to the historian in me. Now, as a mid-thirties lifelong learner, it’s starting to feel like I’m collecting universities instead of credits. I’m fluent in English, Swedish, and Spanish, with some dormant French. Lately, my active projects include Yiddish, Catalan, linguistics, onomastics, and the finer points of Swedish language planning (“språkvård”). Also, I’m proudly part of the queer community, and my interests—whether it’s mythology, language, or human rights—are often informed by this perspective.
If you think about it, we’re a species that tamed fire and electricity, and now we’re all linked together in this digital web, weaving a giant public knowledge web -— by the people, for the people, and all for free. Isn’t that wild? I imagine most readers come here for the basics — quick, clear definitions or grammatical tips — but on a good day, I hope my entries help someone, whether they’re a curious newbie or a die-hard language nerd
